The cosmos can be seen as an everlasting manifestation of straight-line pressure and rotational energy diameters and circles in time and space with circulation restricting expansion on the outside and expansion restricting circulation on the inside.
The illustration facing shows these restrictions as a constant positive and negative circulation of straight lines, which gives the freedom to look in and look out. However, this freedom is accompanied with a built-in bias that gives any individual straight line the ability to draw its own circle while expanding in acceleration. This in turn is affected by a tremendous bias in the way it is viewed, whereby we are able only to see expansion, which makes it almost impossible to portray the deceleration process that is also in operation. This is what makes the cosmos a circulation of locked-in energy.
The illustration shows that straight lines bend to accommodate circulation. This is not unlike the requirement of thinking needed to understand deceleration, in that you have to be able move from a rigid position in order to understand a radically new concept. I hope that this book can achieve this breakthrough in perception, or at least sow the seed in our minds that deceleration exists, even if we cannot generally sense it.
The bias of expansion takes our senses out to infinity in a straight line. However, if this bias were removed, infinity in a straight line would also be removed, and we would understand that infinity is a straight line in circulation, similar to the straight lines in the illustration facing. In consequence, the deceleration in circulation would become obvious, the velocity in the wheel would become clear, the synchronisation of velocity would become apparent and the tensions it develops would be seen.
